- October 14, 1944 – Original Right and Royalty Transfer was 7/64ths to John Trenchard.
- This Royalty agreement, I’m not seeing a term to expire.
- 1961 – John Trenchard divorced Mary Trenchard, my mom’s mom in 1961.
- In 1962 – John Trenchard gave 7/1024ths to Mary Trenchard (per their agreement)
- 1971 – Shell Oil Letter sent to John Trenchard stating that all but 7/1024ths had been sold to varies parties. So John Trenchard sold all but 7/1024ths of the royalties.
- 1975 – John Trenchard gave 7/1024 to my mom’s brother: John Hughes Trenchard on 1975.
- 1997 Mary Trenchard – transferred her 7/1024th to Mary Stranahan before passing away.
- Last Lease agreement and royalty checks received from Crownpointe Resources in 2008 – they leased it from John Hughes Trenchard and My mom Mary Stranahan.
- In the 70s,80s, and 90s – other lease agreements were executed with various durations of 3-5 years. Available upon request – we can scan them or deliver them to you if needed.
- Crownpointe Resources paid Betty and John H Trenchard the same amount so they thought they had the same amount of shares.
- John H Trenchard passed away about 2015, his 4 daughters inherited the royalties. They sold them to Betty around 2020.
- Not currently seeing a bill of sale from John H Trenchard’s kids for this particlulary royalty. They may still own their father’s portion.
- Betty is not sure if the Assignment to Trust and Address change forms were filed.
Action Items
- This royalty may not be in the Trust
- It does look like the current tiltle of the Royalty is in Betty’s legal name.
